Every day, the major social networks and search engines are working hard to make it even easier for customers to find local businesses. Google+ Local... Facebook Nearby... and now Twitter Trends.
#Twitter has added the option to select a specific location when viewing trending hashtags and phrases, making it easier for people to discover tweets and other Twitter users in their area.
Which makes it even more critical that businesses make sure that they establish a presence on social media and take the time to actively engage other users in their geographic area.
